Healthy eating...

In order to stay healthy,I think I should be eating two different kind of fruits and vegetable.

When you eat unhealthily, you might become overweight, obese, develop clogged arteries, and many many diseases such as having high cholesterol level, diabetes and many more. These all can lead to an early death. Eating healthy keeps you at a maintained weight. The food passes right along and actually nurtures your body rather than just tasting good and going straight to your thighs. Ti bits, food that contain a lot of oil and fats are some food that youngsters and adults like to eat now days. I like to eat fruits and vegetables mainly because they can keep me healthy. Vegetables helps to replenish our blood and fruits contain vitamin C which is an essential nutrient for humans. I strongly encourage the school's campaign in encouraging pupils to eat more fruits and vegetables. They help a large number of pupils to stay healthy and reduce the risk of them contracting diseases because of eating unhealthy food.

Outside school activities...

I am involved in tuition classes on Wednesday and Saturday.I spent two days on these activities. Each of my tuition period is 1 and a half hour.I am involved in these activities to gain more knowledge, learn more on the subject and more.I think it is neccesary for me to participate in these activities as it is useful to me and the teacher's time is flexible for me to accomodate my cirricular activities. These activities does not affect my studies and in fact helps me to improve my grades.I get stressed sometimes with too much activities going on and piles of test papers for me to work on.If it is useful, I think it is ok students to get involved in outside school activities, but they should not get too occupied with their activities and neglect their studies.

Passion For Learning...

From what I understand from passion for learning, it refers to having that passion to learn new things. One will be able to concentrate during lessons and want to learn new things, gaining more knowledge.I have a godsister who has the passion for learning and want to learn new things. She reads a wide variety of books and does well in her exams. Being a prefect in her school, she also leads by example.I think I have a passion for learning now as I have improved in my behaviour compared to last year and have a curiousity to learn new things.I also do assessments durings weekends understand more about the subject, developing the passion for learning.

Target Settings...

By setting target for our various subject it is to strive those marks for PSLE that we have already set.I think it is useful to me and all of my classmates because it shows that where you are standing right now and how much more you have to go. For me,I would like to score a higher mark compared to my last year results by doing more assessments and reading more books to learn more new words to improve my vocabulary, and for my sports, basketball, this week I will be playing against other schools as I have to train harder by improving bouncing with my left hand and free throws. As for my track, I would like to improve in my sprintings and high jump.My parents enrol me in tuition classes and encourage me to study more, helping me to achieve my targets. Organise a reading competition and explain difficult words to us,they can occasionally go through some books that they think are good for us.

School's vision, mission and values....

The school vision is "A school of distinction Nurturing Future-Ready Citizens of Character".The school mission is"Providing quality education to equip pupils with the values, knowledge and skills for the 21st century" and the school values were S-Sincerity,P-Passion for learning,I-Integrity our foundation,C-Courage ,E-Excellence in everything we do and S-Self discipline.I think the school's vision, mission and values is for us to understand at each and every words.I believe in the school values because it may be true you see, almost all the sportsmen has their own self-discipline and excellence to strive for gold.I don't think of the school values when engaging in activities in school or outside.because when one of day when I was going to have lunch with my friends,I saw one of our school students was scolding vulgar language at another student by not controlling him or herself...I as a student will try to follow the school values by not trying to make any mistake...I think the teachers can organise some activities that is against the values in class and in school to help students learn the values.

During the December holidays,I spent my holidays at home...doing nothing ,but I go for tuition and went out with my friends....Actually i suppose to go to Malaysia with my family to visit grandfather, but then my dad just refused to go Malaysia with us to visit my grandfather to have a early New Year.....so my father, mother, sister, brother and I have to spent my December holidays at home...so sometimes I went downstairs my house to play with my friends and yet I even saw some of my classmate Roza and Dicky....I even went to basketball court and yet i even seen my classmate like Wei Qiang....Most of the day I also went to basketball training so that I can improve my basketball skills and I can even watch those senior and junior boys plays against others school so that i can understand what should not do in the match or even does in the match.Lastly,i think it is quite fun during these holidays whenever i going to Malaysia or not...

About Singapore Grand Prix....

F1 is a set of technical regulations for single seater racing cars which is published annually by the FIA. The regulations specify maximum and minimum dimensions, engine capacity, what is permitted technically and what is not permitted and, perhaps most important of all, a large number of safety measures to be incorporated in the car with a view to protecting the driver. A car built to these regulations is a Formula One car. Formula Two (not currently in use),Formula Three and Formula 3000 are also FIA specifications, but each has lower performance than Formula One.The Formula One series has its roots in the European Grand Prix Motor Racing of the 1920s and 1930s. The "formula" is a set of rules which all participants and cars must meet. Formula One was a new formula agreed after World War II in 1946, with the first non-championship races being held that year. A number of Grand Prix racing organisations had laid out rules for a World Championship before the war, but due to the suspension of racing during the conflict, the World Drivers' Championship was not formalised until 1947. The first world championship race was held at Silverstone, United Kingdom in 1950.I think Singapore should stage F1 it is because we will bring buzz and excitement into the heart of the city, so that everyone can join in the festivities. The benefit do Singapore get for staging the F1 is to have many foreigners to visit our Singapore Grand Prix and its make Singapore more popular I think...My favourite F1 driver is Rubens Barrichello it is because he is a very determination guy,his skill are good and he have help his team won .(On the right that's the picture of Rubens Barrichello)There is nothing I am like or dislike about the F1,it is because it is too amazing that I am totally speechless about it..Yes !When the car passes me the wind was so strong that blows my hair and my hair fly up yet it was very fast ,and I wish to have another F1 race in Singapore so that I could go there to watch again.
